Last Monday we finally got our tree up. We took the rustic route and went to Lowes. =) Every year dad tries to talk us into getting a fake tree and so far....no luck. I love the smell of pine in the house and going out with the kids to pick the perfect tree. When our kids are gone, then we can get a fake one. Sorry Brad!! One of my most favorite things about Christmas is decorating the tree. I love getting out all the ornaments from Grandma B. and Grandma great. Lots of memories!! My dream Christmas would be to go up to the mountains and spend Christmas in a cabin with our freshly chopped tree, a roaring fire in the fireplace and christmas music in the background. Now doesn't that sound fun!!! Maybe we will get to do that one of these years.
