Valentines Day Dinner
Every year for valentines day, we make it a family event. This kids help decorate the kitchen and the table and we all sit down to a nice dinner. (Mary style) It has been a lot of fun over the years. We try to give each other valentines and Brad and I usually write notes to the kids (didn't make it this year). The kids really look forward to celebrating with us. This year Brad was gone on Valentines so we celebrated it on Sunday! Fun memories!!!
Alyssa also made daddy a treasure hunt this year. She worked on it for along time and came up with the idea all by herself. She really missed him when he was gone. She had him go all over the house to find his valentine. I remember doing things like that when I was little and how happy I was when my parents seemed to really like it. It was very sweet of her (which she is very sweet like that a lot)!!!

I really like that idea.. hmm. Maybe we'll need to steal it!
We made an attempt at that this year. It really was fun and the kids have been asking me almost everyday since if we could have a fancy dinner. :)
