Saturday morning Brad called all the kids around him on our bed to talk about the "stuff" we had to do today. Then he told them he had a confession to make. While in Italy, he had eaten something that he shouldn't have--at which Cameron chimed in saying "it was coffee" wasn't it dad. Then he told them that it was so good that it must have come from heaven. When he finally told them it was Gelatto, the best ice cream ever and that he had brought some home, their eyes were huge and the smiles wide. He told them that after they had gotten their work done they would get it but we would have to drive. The whole day they kept asking when they were going to get their angel icecream. It was cute!! We did go to the Italian ice cream shop downtown and yes, it is just like eating a piece of heaven!!!! Thanks Dad!!!!!

How cute! Kids get excited over the simplest of things don't they.
Sorry, it's not Caleb, it's Heather. I just realized it automatically logged me in as him.
I love that! I am a big Gelatto fan. I've never been to Italy but I love the Haagen Daz version. Brad'll have to try that and let me know if it's close to the real thing! :)
Horray for Ice cream!
